Albert Dyer Castle
The day we decided to visit the Pavlovich mansion, things did not go as planned.
We had a bad feeling, and we were right.
We tried to get there for over an hour, but when a car parked outside the house, we thought it was too dangerous.
So we found it wiser to come back later, and luckily there was another castle that we were planning to visit which was a 10 minute drive from where we were.
Arrived at destination, we notice that the castle is very visible from the road and that we will have to be very discreet.
We wait a few minutes, for prudence, no car passes when we access the forest leading to the castle.
There was a lot of vegetation, the land had not been maintained for a long time.
We arrive at last in front of the castle, and we note with regret that the castle is completely decayed and that the ground is a dumping ground. We already knew that but the entire ground floor was unfortunately condemned, so it was impossible to visit it from the inside.
Obviously we could have come with a ladder to climb directly to the first floor, but we did not find it necessary.
There was clearly nothing interesting to see.
It was already enough to see the castle from the outside, for the little that remained to be seen.
Luckily we had not planned a full day to visit it. We thought it was a good thing that luckily he was close to the Pavlovich mansion, so we could do two spots at once.
But it is true that I would have liked to see this castle a few years ago, when it was in a better state, and visitable.
